How to Change the Windows Display Language in Windows 8

Information: This will show you how to change the Windows display language to a language you like for only your user account in Windows 8.
Solution:

1. Do step 2, 3, or 4 below for how you would like to open Language. 2. Click on the input indicator system icon in the notification area on the taskbar, and click on Change language preferences. NOTE: The input indicator system icon will only be displayed if you had already previously added a language.
A) Go to step 5 below.
3. Open the Control Panel (icons view), and click on the Language icon.
A) Go to step 5 below.
4. Open PC settings, click on General on the left side, and then click on the Language Preferences link under Language on the right side.
A) Go to step 5 below.
5. If you have not already, you will need to add the language that you want as your Windows display language. 6. If not already, an administrator will need to install the language pack for the added language that you wanted as your Windows display language. 7. Do step 8, 9 or 10 below for how you would like to change your Windows display language. 8. Using "Move up" Toolbar Button to Change Windows Display Language
A) Select an added language that has Windows display language: Available displayed, then click on the Move up toolbar button until the language is at the top of your list order.
B) Go to step 11 below.
9. Using Language "Options" to Change Windows Display Language
A) Click on Options for an added language that has Windows display language: Available displayed. B) Under Windows display language, click on the Make this primary language link.
C) Go to step 11 below.
10. Using "Advanced settings" to Change Windows Display Language
A) In the left pane, click on the Advanced settings link.
B) Under Override for Windows display language, select what you would like for your display language from the drop down menu, and click on Save. NOTE: If you want a display language that's different than the one determined by the order of your language list in step 8 above, then you can choose that language instead of Use language list.
C) Go to step 11 below.
11. Sign out and sign in to your user account when you like to enable the new Windows display language.
