Windows XP professional installation.

Insert the disc into the computer's optical drive and restart the computer. Press any key as the computer starts back up to boot into the installation disc.

Press "Enter" at the "Welcome" screen to enter the installation setup. Press "F8" to accept the licensing agreement.

Follow the on-screen instructions to begin the installation. If you can connect to the Internet, allow Windows installation to do so to install the latest updates. When prompted to select an installation destination, highlight the C: drive using the arrow keys and press "D" to delete the partition. Press "L" to confirm the action. Press "C" to create a new partiton with the NTFS file system.

Continue with the rest of the installation, following the on-screen instructions, entering the necessary information when prompted. When prompted for the product key enter "MVF4D-W774K-MC4VM-QY6XY-R38TB." This code, provided by Microsoft, preserves the OEM pre-activation. The code is for XP Professional 32-bit; for additional versions see References. You will also be asked for your time zone and to create a user name for the computer. The computer will restart once the installation completes. Remove the disc, and the system will boot into your OEM Windows XP Professional install.
