Windows 8 different Ways to Access the Control Panel

Windows 8 different Ways to Access the Control Panel

Method 1– Start Screen
The third way involves using the Start Screen. Go to the Start Screen by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard, moving your mouse to the lower-left part of your screen, or moving your mouse to the upper-right part of the screen and clicking on Start in the Charms bar that appears.
Once you are there, right-click on any empty space and you’ll see the All Apps option appear at the bottom.
Let me go ahead and make a shortcut for control panel for easy access

Method 1 – Desktop Icon
The easiest way to access the Control Panel is to add it to your Windows 8 desktop. You can do this by right-clicking on the Desktop and choosing Personalize.
Next, click on Change Desktop Icons in the left hand pane.
Now go ahead and check the box next to Computer and Control Panel. I mention Computer because that is used in the second method below.
Now the Control Panel icon will show up on your desktop for easy access.

Method 2 – Computer Icon
If you click on Computer on your desktop, you’ll see at the top, the menu is File, Computer, and View. Click on Computer.
There is an option in the ribbon called Open Control Panel. You can click on that to get into it. So that’s the second way.
