How to Assign - Add IP Address for Network Card in Windows 8

1. Open control panel >> network and sharing center >> change adaptor settings.

There is another easy way to open "change adaptor settings" by typing "ncpa.cpl" at search box on start. Or windows key + R and type ncpa.cpl
2. Right click on the Wired Ethernet Connection, Select properties,

Note: if you want to assign IP for the wireless LAN right click on that I click properties

3. Scroll down select Internet Protocol Version 4, select properties

4. You can see the IP box and enter your IP address. (You can enter the IP address which is acceptable for that network)
